Quick Hit – Bargain 510hp 2012 Range Rover Sport – $25,998

RR sideI love this unicorn.  Don’t see a lot of Range Rovers in red.  Don’t see a lot of supercharged Range Rovers for $25,998.  Don’t see any other 500+ hp SUV’s for under $35,000 – BMW X5M’s and X6M’s sometimes come close (check out this X6M with 555hp for $36,998 in Tuscon).  Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT-8’s don’t have the oomph and cost more.  Mercedes GL63’s top 550hp but also cost twice what this Range Rover does.

This supercharged Range Rover is ripe for MaxCare though – repairs aren’t cheap.  Minor point – CarMax has this car listed under the more luxurious Range Rover category and not Range Rover Sport.  The Sports are usually cheaper – regardless $25,998 is a good deal for a single-owner Ranger Rover Sport Supercharged.  Find it here in Sacramento.

    1. Make a road trip and drive it back. Take a good radar detector and a thermos of coffee – back in no time.

  1. I agree this was a great find I knew it when I saw it so I put it on hold now I’m the proud owner of this unicorn its beautiful inside and out and oh ya this unicorn can absolutely fly down the road
I definitely have to hold on to my coffee Merry Christmas too me !

    1. You bought it?! I wondered if it was gone for good. Did you spring for MaxCare? Hope it all was painless.

  2. Hi Chuck
Yes I did spring for MaxCare and it was painless but necessary after researching the pro’s and con’s on a high end vehicle of this caliber I felt the coverage was a no brainer I enjoy driving this unicorn its definitely one of a kind
See you on the road. Fred

    1. I’m jealous. Seems like a bargain. My next SUV has to be small enough the wife will agree to co-drive on vacations. Think X6 might be the biggest I could do.
